About Amber & Oak

I’m Mel, a registered nurse and aesthetic injector with a focus on skin health, balance, and long-term results.

My approach to aesthetics is thoughtful and precise, grounded in understanding how skin functions rather than chasing quick changes.

At Amber & Oak, every treatment begins with listening. Not just to what you want to change, but to how your skin behaves, what it needs, and how it will evolve over time. The goal is never to rush or overcorrect. It’s to make decisions that feel considered, informed, and aligned with you.

My Approach

I take a skin-first approach to aesthetics. That means prioritizing skin quality, structure, and function before refinement. Treatments are planned with intention and restraint, guided by education rather than trends.

I focus on supporting skin health, addressing imbalances thoughtfully, and creating results that look natural now and continue to age well. Not everything needs to be done at once, and not every concern requires the same solution. Part of my role is helping you understand what makes sense for your skin, both now and in the long term.

Education is a core part of every appointment. I want you to feel confident in the decisions you’re making, not pressured into them.

What sets us apart

At Amber & Oak, treatments are approached with intention, not urgency. We focus on skin health first, understanding structure, function, and timing before recommending anything. Every plan is built around education, restraint, and long-term outcomes. The goal is not more treatment, but better decisions.

This is care designed to support confidence that feels grounded, considered, and sustainable.

Amber & Oak was named with intention.

Amber is often associated with clarity, warmth, and self-confidence. It’s believed to help clear what feels stagnant, bringing a sense of vitality and steadiness. For me, it represents confidence that feels grounded and earned, not forced.

Oak has long symbolized resilience, stability, and quiet strength. I also see it as a metaphor for skin itself. Always adapting. Constantly regenerating. Shaped by time, care, and environment.

Together, Amber & Oak reflects how I approach aesthetics. A balance of science and intuition. Refinement paired with restoration. Supporting what’s already there rather than trying to reinvent it.

This space was created to help you feel confident, supported, and at home in your skin.
