Hi, I'm Mel - the face behind Amber & Oak Aesthetics.
Before stepping into aesthetics, I spent over a decade in critical care and emergency nursing. That experience shaped how I approach every treatment: with calm precision, presence, and deep respect for the person behind the face.
In 2020, I followed a long-standing pull toward aesthetic medicine — not to change people, but to help them feel more like themselves. My work blends the technical and the intuitive. I believe subtle changes, done with intention, can have a meaningful impact.

Outside the clinic, I’m a mom to two busy toddlers (Bo and Sam), wife to Joel (who keeps life light and funny), and dog mom to Hudson — our gentle rescue pup of nine years.
I love a good thrift store find, backcountry hikes, trying new restaurants, and giving old furniture new life.
